Proud Mama

Yesterday night was amazing !! My baby made the winning point for the tie bracker!!! She stole home! This was such an accomplishment for my baby because at the beginning of the season she was so scared to slide and was unable to follow through with plays. Last night she showed her growth!! It’s something about being tied in a game and adrenaline is high it makes you play at your peak performance!! All is her coaches spoke to her to give her direction and encouragement but when the time came it was just her and God. I saw her tilt her head down !! I wonder in that moment when the batter got up did she say a prayer ??? I would never ask because that is between her and God but by her making it I know that was my prayer answered !! During that time I felt sick to my stomach it was hard to watch I couldn’t imagine the pressure my 9 year old was under! But as she stood there I began to understand this only makes her stronger ! I can’t fight all her battles and at this point all eyes were on her and she had to make her own decisions! So I think God for the training she had at that moment ! And I think of how God trains us for our cross road decisions he says he has trained us and he sits to watch our decision! I can only pray that I make a God proud the way my daughter made me proud last night !!

Mama sometimes we have to sit. Back and watch our children show us what we taught them!! Be Blessed Mama!!

Yes Sunshine, last nights game was quite stressful. The opposing team started strong, but the Wildcats ended with the victory. Thanks to God and my baby girl. You are right sometimes a mama has to sit back and watch but also be there ready to support. I’m so proud of my baby girl for showing her talent and using her skills. I’m sure at that moment when her head was down she was whispering a little prayer because that is what WE do!!
    Love you,
    YOUR Mama
