Virtual Learning

I’m not sure what you are saying here (Mama was yes to check in on you to see how virtual learning is going for you ???? )My district has the same teacher in the classroom AND teaching the kids virtually… I have to say at the moment I am not a fan. It’s not the teacher’s fault (beads) it is hard to split the attention!!! I know because I have done it! I wish our district decided to split the kids with different teachers in person and virtual. But since it’s not, I am trying to make the best out of it!! I am staying positive I am advocating for my kids trying to get more screen time and 1:1 time with my kids!

Today when I went to get the tablets for my little ones, I expressed my concerns face to face to the director. When I had this talk I asked God for grace and I also kept in mind that she does not have the final say. I say this Mama because when we are upset it does not pay off for us to get loud and rude towards anyone. You have to be professional and remain calm so you can get the message across quickly and clearly! Just remember Mama, if you don’t fight for your little ones, no one will!!

It’s going well here. Our town has a separate “school” for virtual students. They even have their own principal! It’s two hours online and they have divided our class into 3 different groups. The entire class meets up once a week for 30 minutes. The issue is trying to get my son to learn more after his homework is completed. I am determined not to let him get by with just the bare minimums! It’s our responsibility!!!

Continue to speak up for your children, they need your voice in order to progress.
