Yesterday…..

Yesterday was powerful to me! There were no words needed! The Blackout means so much! Society needs to stop acting racism does not exist ! Today I had to talk to my 9 years old daughter about what is going on in our world. Y’all she cried she truly was hurt and cried and is scared for her father, grandfathers, brother, uncles, and cousins. She asked “does our president even care?”What am I to say …. she said “I thought segregation was over mommy”. All I could tell her is God knew this would happen before we did and he has a plan bigger then me and you! So, to my Mama’s don’t hide this from your children! Be honest they need to know the truth. It’s ok to cry together and be scared together! I didn’t even eat dinner tonight because I am so full off the crap our society thinks is ok. Your child needs to know that everything is NOT OK!!!

    Hi Sunshine,
I don’t believe that I have fallen behind in responding. Yes, I know the talk was difficult, but it was much needed. Continue to educate and protect your precious treasures.
    Love you,
    YOUR Mama
