Gratitude….

Today I want to take a moment and show gratitude to my Husband ! I Thank God for sending me someone who was perfect for me. I have been writing my blogs for a few weeks and I have not said thank you the man in my life who make it all

possible for me to apart of so many organizations and supports my dreams every step of the way. His name is Jeremie Pickett and God had him come into my life when I was weak and confused. He was able to see strength in me that I did not see in myself. He was patient with me and helped me work through my struggles and sickness.

Our first date I spilled coffee in his brand new car…. all over the cloth seats and he said nothing but it’s ok it’s just a car. At that moment I knew God had smiled upon me. Y’all this was his brand new car only a few months old. My own daddy would have flipped on me. If any one knows Jeremie he is soft spoke and slow to anger, and that is just what I needed in my life .

Jeremie and I met when I was in college and I swore he should have gotten his digree with me. He would work from 6am-3pm come from Granby to New Haven. He would stay up with me for every paper that needed to be written, he helped me study for every exam. He proof read my papers and brought my text books that I forgot and dinner to my classes that were late at night. He wouldn’t let me walk to my dorm alone. He would meet me at the closet parking lot and drive me to my dorm.My graphics design class he did all of my assignments, and If I forgot a paper or something he would go to the student center print and bring to me. Y’all he is an extraordinary father and life partner! I thank you Jeremie for choosing me!

So,Mamas God will send you right what you need and who you need at the perfect moment but you have to be accepting of it. There were so many times I asked why, why are you being so nice and I would not want to accept his help. He would look me in my eyes and say “let me help you” “I’m hear to help you”, “we can do this together”.

You might not have a husband but you have a friend, a mother, cousin, sister, brother, whatever support you do have thank them for being your support system. God has placed them in your life for a reason so show gratitude to them. Remember no matter what you are a Blessed Mama !!

    My Sunshine,
Thank you for tooting Jeremie’s horn. He is the best thing that has happened to you. He won my heart, respect, and approval by showing, not telling me how much he loves you. As a young lady who suffers from severe asthma Jeremie has been right by your side to take care of you. I remember when you were in school and you had whooping cough the doctors and the school suggested that you take time off. You being you refused to do that so your dad and I agreed to transport you back-and-forth to New Haven every day because we wanted you to come home so we could take care of you. Your dad would take you to school I would leave work and pick you up every day. I even ended up with whooping cough. Shortly after that Jeremie came into your life and when you would have an asthma attack he was there for you. I remember one time when you told me that you were sick I said I’m on my way. Jeremie said tell your mom I have this! That’s when I knew for sure that Jeremie was the one for you. He has been that way from the beginning. Recently During a stormyou you were sick and couldn’t find your nebulizer.
I called Jeremie and he said he was on his way home when he got there he got the nebulizer and he took a picture of himself holding it and sent it to me to let me know, he had this! Jeremy is a one-of-a-kind husband, and the best father I have ever observed. He takes care of his children and he’ll tell you those of my kids and he means it. He does everything for them from doing the girls here to whatever they are in need of.
Yes, without Jeremie you wouldn’t be able to do what you do!
My hat goes off to the best son in love on this planet!
You are TRULY a blessed Mama!
    Love y’all,
    YOUR Mama
