Hey Mamas! Happy Mother’s Day !!!Thank for stopping by to check out my blog!!! I feel so blessed that out of all the blog sites in the world you felt like you wanted to stop by and read my post!!!

This is not going to be anything perfect! On this mothers day as we are “relaxing” or trying to “relax” I wanted to launch my site . My goal for this blog is to be transparent as a mom, wife, daughter, student (with a learning disability), ministry leader and most importantly a child of God ! I hope that you find encouragement and tools to use during your daily life as being a MAMA.So as you all read remember to grant me some GRACE! Check the blog weekly to see whats new. You don’t want to miss the stories and excitement we have in store. Welcome to my journey! Hold on tight the current will get stronger!

I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. I am a 32 year old ( I think.... that’s a story for another day) wife, mother, youth ministry leaders a mother member of Jack and Jill of America Incorporated and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. I have 3 children Justice 8, Joy 3 and JJ 2 and amazing husband! I was born and raised in the North End of Hartford with 2 amazing and supportive parents. I have a Bachelors in Interpersonal and Relational Communication with a Minor in Psychology, Masters in Special Education and a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. For my career I am a Board Certified Behavior Analysis (this was truly a journey). This blog is to show you my everyday life and that by the Grace of GOD I am making it on broken pieces. I am choosing to thrive (not survive) at this mommy thing and I pray that this blog Blesses a Mama out there to keep going!!!!

Jen! I’m proud of you for starting this and can’t wait to keep up. Your family is blessed and I look forward to all your MAMA stories. It’s nice to hear another mom’s story and learn some new tips. During this quarantine we all are social distancing so it’s nice of you to welcome us into your home. I love you Sis!!

To my darling daughter who is the sunshine in my life. You amaze me everyday and I’m beyond proud of you. You are a phenomenal daughter, wife, mother of 3, child advocate, sorority sister, friend, ministry leader, minister in training, but most importantly a child of GOD! I know you are going to be a blessing to others as you share your experiences and how your determination and faith in God brings you through life’s challenges. To God be the glory for the things He has done in your life and the things He is yet to do. Always remember to, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. In all of your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path!” Go forward and be the Impact God intends for you to be!
    I love you beyond measure,
    Mommy
